Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
Don’t get me wrong the Madden football series is amazing and one that I’m a huge fan of,admittedly I’m not that good at it,but Having recently read an article on how the Madden video game series is to have player concussion incorporated into the game,it set me off to wondering just how much content/realism should there be?,without detracting from the actual concept of the game, but if your going to make it realistic then surely nothing should be left out?
I get that Its important to educate young children them on the game, they need to understand that you don’t just pop back up to line of scrimmage after a hard hit the NFL is a dangerous sport and players suffer serious injuries,(why have an option to turn injuries off hmmm) Is there an option where you can turn off the field antics on/off? I doubt it very much.
Surely the children need to be educated on that too,the transition from college football to the greatest stage of all the NFL. We hear about season after season on how young aspiring superstars fall into the mishaps of stardom.Even the players that have been in the league for a number of years create more headlines off the field than on it.
No matter whats included or not its sure be another hit with fans worldwide (myself included) The fact that such injuries are being highlighted is a step in the right direction.
